Nathan Caine (Jack Quaid) is a mild-mannered and introverted bank executive, with a rare disorder of congenital insensitivity to pain (CIP). When the bank falls under attack, the girl of his dreams (Amber Midthunder) is held hostage in the robbery. He must use his inability to feel pain and turn it into an unexpected advantage to fight the group of bank robbers and get her back. Working towards improving accessibility at the cinema, Paramount Pictures UK have launched a new captions initiative, providing subtitled previews of their upcoming films. Please note all preview screenings of Novocaine on Wednesday 26th March will be subtitled.
